A few things just landed in ApplianceOps that make your day easier — and one of them came straight from a shop owner.

📱 The Android app is open for testing

ApplianceOps is no longer just a browser tab. The Android app is on Google Play for testing right now — the full thing: your board, invoices, payments and messages, plus notifications that actually land on your phone when a job gets assigned. Want in? Email me and I’ll add you to the tester list and send the link — it takes about two minutes.

The Windows desktop app is ready as well, for anyone who runs the back office from a PC. Same account, same data. On iPhone, keep using Add to Home Screen — it installs and works the same way.

☀️ Your day, in one card

☀️
Your Morning BriefingNew
Log in first thing and you get a one-card summary of your whole day: how many jobs (morning vs. afternoon), who’s booked light and who’s slammed, bookings waiting to be confirmed, parts still to order, warranty jobs still open, and exactly how much money is owed to you. Tap any line and it takes you straight there. Everyone gets this — nothing to turn on.
🔎
One-Click Filters in Your Job ListNew
💰 Owed (everyone who still owes you) and 💵 Paid · open (paid in full but not closed out), plus warranty jobs and parts-to-order — each one click away. No more scrolling to find the six invoices with money still on them.
Just Ask — and It Opens the ListNew
The “Ask anything” bar above your calendar already answers from your real data. Now ask it to show you a list — “who owes me money?”, “pull up my warranty jobs” — and it opens that filtered list right on your board, not a wall of text. Owner/admin only.

💵 Payroll: every closed call, and who earned what

If you run payroll out of ApplianceOps, the Ledger tab got a lot more honest about what it’s showing you. (Owner/admin only, as always — your techs never see anyone else’s pay.)

🧮
Every Closed Call, Paid or NotNew
The Ledger now lists every call closed in the pay period — earning or not. A callback, a warranty visit with nothing chargeable, a repair the customer turned down: they all show up, each one saying why it paid what it paid. Some shops pay a bonus per closed call, and that count is now at the top of the list and on each person’s card.
🤝
Who Earned What — and AssistsNew
Two people on one invoice? The card spells out the split — $95.00 to Sara · $47.00 to Mike — instead of one lump you work backwards from. Calls somebody assisted on count toward their closed-call total too, broken out separately so you can pay assists differently if you want.
🔄
Reopen a Job — Nothing Weird HappensNew
Reopen it before you’ve run payroll and it stays one job worth the full amount — nothing split, nobody half-paid. Reopen it after you’ve paid that week and the card tells you exactly what was already paid and to whom — ✓ Paid on Sun, Jul 26 — $30.02 to Sara Lin — and only the new work earns again. Nobody gets paid twice; nobody quietly loses money that was already theirs.

📞 An AI that hands you the lead

These two are part of the Business Line — your own business phone number that lives inside ApplianceOps.

🤖
“Just Gather the Info” for the AI Text-BackBusiness Line
Thanks to Ryan at Gessert Repair Services for this one. Ryan wanted the AI to answer a missed call without booking over his calendar — a great idea, so we built it. Flip one switch and the AI gathers the customer’s name, appliance and problem, tells them your office will reach out, and drops them into a new 🤖 AI leads list on your board with a Book it button that pre-fills everything. You pick the day, time and tech. Prefer it to book automatically? Still the default.
☎️
Two-Way Calling from the Job CardBusiness Line
Call a customer straight from their job card — your phone rings first, then bridges the call, and the customer sees your business number, never your personal cell. Dialpad, customer search, the works.
📣
Campaigns — bring customers back on autopilot
Friendly automatic check-ins that go out after a job — 1 month, 3, 6, and just before a year — so customers come back to you instead of Googling someone else. Email campaigns work for every shop; text campaigns need a Business Line.

👋 Was your trial the last time you looked?

If you tried ApplianceOps on the old version and your trial ran out — v5 is a different product. A full rebuild: it keeps working with no signal in a basement or a driveway, and the whole job lives in one place. Message me and I’ll bring your old data across and turn on a fresh trial. No pressure and no pitch.
